€46000 to Cut a Hedge

Surely this must be the most expensive hedge. Limerick farmer is pouring the milk from his 24 cows into the slurry every day at a cost of €46k so far.
The tanker stopped coming until the hedge was cut back. He says it is the Council's for 84m, they say it is his hedge to maintain. So cost €500 per meter so far.
Some have strong views with principles at stake then there is a step further.....
