1/2 inch battery impact gun - snap on or milwaukee??

New milwaukee stuff is excellent, I have never had problems with any of it at all and I feel it is reasonable enough priced compared to competition, snap on is over priced and impact gun is twice the money of Milwaukee, go for the m18 fuel gun with friction ring and not pin indent square .

Agree with CB, cant fault milwaukee with power, size and performance. Tried a snap on 3/8 18v against a milwaukee fuel m12 3/8 and milwaukee always won. Got a fuel m18 3/4 gun and its some bit of kit

so my Milwaukee battery impact gun has decided to give up again. do I get another or go for a snap on. have Milwaukee improved over the yrs?

with out a doubt Milwaukee, I don't rate snap on power tools much IMO, they are okay but they are very expensive and you don't get anything extra for the money. only 12 months warranty compared to Milwaukee 3 years. plus i bet the latest Milwaukee with the extra torque will blow the snap on away!?

this is the new latest version, quite a lot more torque than the slightly older fuel version!

I have the old fuel in 3/4drive and love it, hardly use my old 1/2 drive one now. but even my 3/4 has less torque than the new 1/2.

okay that's possibly not the best priced example but google the model number and see who comes up cheapest.

Snap on power tools are rubbish and expensive, I used to be snap on everything until I came to my senses and sold them for Milwaukee. They don't last very long and usually when you need spares or you notice the performance has dropped off you find out they have replaced it with a newer model with new style batterie's and it's £££ to upgrade.

M7 seem Ok, would guess infersoll rand or Chicago pneumatic would be good.

Having said that, mine haven’t been out the box since I got my Milwaukee cordless, a lot less hassle than messing with airlines and just as gutsy.

What make is a good powerful air impact gun 1/2 drive. Had truecraft one from spaldings for years and went well but has stopped working. Got one from machine mart and is crap!

I have a universal tool one, had it years, it was alright but I not used in it about 10years?:ROFLMAO: cost me about £70 I think from the last ever smith field show when ever that was? 2004? 2005?:scratchhead:

I got the Milwaukee 3/4 battery gun at Christmas and love it. The truck guys put there’s through their paces and the Milwaukee seem to come out on top of snap on or de Walt. My Milwaukee certainly seems better built and sturdier than my mates dewalt.

I have a stubby cp 1/2 air gun. Not the most powerful but very handy to get into smaller places and nice and light. Ideal working around a pickup where a bigger 1/2 or battery gun is awkward.

My makita 1/2” 1002 is pretty strong as well, shears an m10 raw bolt off pretty easily.....[emoji30] undoes all my grain trailer wheel nuts too

M10 is small! I can shear m16 or rip the threads out no trouble if i let it:)

The new milwaukee in my link with even more power must be a right weapon:wideyed: good job that one has 4 preset torques on it which can be customised via bluetooth on phone app:)
