Supposedly better work quality. Never tried side by side to compare. You would think on a 10 rotor machine all the gears would be larger and less crammed into the trough so tougher but again, I've never had a 12 rotor opened to look.
Got both hard to tell much difference in work quality, maybe 12 smaller rotors are easier to drive but 10 are definitely better on stones with a Kuhn better than an amazone on stones as well (more room below the bed) in my opinion
6 months before Dowdeswell failed, I was persuaded to buy one if theirs instead of a Kuhn, because it had the extra rotors and would be better...
I have now got a Kuhn as well, under a combi drill, and have never noticed the difference.
