10 yr old ewe can't get up by herself

I have a 10 yr old ewe, and she can't get herself up without me picking her up. She's not been able to do this for 5 days now, think her old age is kicking in. She's looking fairly skinny. I'm checking on her every hour but leaving her at night. She's eating ewe nuts fine. Do you think it's time to end her life or let her keep going? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I had a 12 year old ewe that went the same way. She had been a great ewe and had actually had 18 months of retirement, spent last winter babysitting the ewe hoggs in the shed. Put her out with them but found her lying on her side twice and the second time I just bit the bullet and shot her. Funnily enough, her 10 year old daughter was standing with her while the hoggs were on the other side of the field.

Try and lift her but if she can't support herself you owe it to her to draw the line.
