Thankfully, following the bonfire of red tape on our leaving the EU, our government is now free to do this - and more - to support UK pig farmers. But it won't.
Thought it was interesting how they had pitched it. No support for weaner producers, but a clear indication of supporting the smaller local producer by making it flat rate per farm, and pay down to about 7-10 sow units (depending on performance).
