Depends on your how you stack them in. We stack from the open ends rather than through the posts, so in your example a shorter wider shed would suit us better.If you are storing different types of straw or hay, a longer shed will suit better as you can keep them seperate without blocking some in

Still plenty of sub-par sheds here that badly need replacing or improving. Leaky roof or leaky floor etc.

Very true! Same as you can never have too much space between sheds. That has made things hard work here when machines were smaller and most sheds at the time were designed for a dairy enterprise....or are built of stone!You can’t have enough sheds. Most of mine are so substandard it’s unbelievable.
