Maize drill mounted on power harrow

Having put my 4 row maize drill away again for a year, I keep looking at it thinking I could mount it on a piggyback style linkage on my 3 meter power harrow. Has anyone done this? It would definitely save a pass. First problem for me would be driving the fan (as its 540rpm and the PH is 1000). This could probably be solved with a hydraulic fan motor, but don't really want to throw £££s at it.
Comments from anyone with experience of doing this (or even trying!) would be great.

We do this with a 4m power Harrow and a 6 row drill. Works well and we've done 3 seasons with it like this ( 250 acres a season). For the pto speed we just had another pulley off the dealers. Very straight forward and gives a lovely even seed depth.

Here's mine. Chopped down 6 row accord on an amazone p/harrow.
Converted the fan from pto to hydraulic drive, works a treat and will happily do 40 acre /day.
Just removed fert hopper and put front tank on for this year as felt 600kg fert in the hopper might eventually be too much for the linkage.
Tractor handles it fine though ?
