New design 750a been working in Essex for a few months. Very hush hush but I would be surprised if it’s not available in much wider widths, better metering and at least 2 hoppers.

I heard about a new 750 with twin hoppers based on the American design but much narrower for road transport. It’ll be interesting in an already very crowded market, but JD have the history so no doubt will come out on top.

What’s happened to Cross Slot? Haven’t heard anything for a while now.

Interesting. I had heard this too
Asked dealer to look into it as we need to change our 4m 750 up to a 6m next year. He came back saying there was one last year, but project had been binned. So no changes to 750A. ?

bust, not bust, maybe bust, new “cross slot Europe“ company

new machine now being built in Eastern Europe (saw a pic a couple of weeks ago) so still alive and kicking but in the Uk stil Primewest and using their openers on their drill and I’m know of another uk manufacture apparently about to offer a drill usIng but can’t say who yet

the Novag is a better coulter and drill in many respect IMO and has solid back up, Bill Richie works for Novag now as well

Colour scheme?
TBH I’ve seen one example traded in. I know @Clive has predicted the demise of JD drill values, I’m not too concerned, I’m sure CS owners aren’t too concerned either?.

cant see 750a values falling, it’s still a brilliant drill

about time it had a few updates now though, the coulter works well but proper sized hopper, fert options and a metering sytem that’s not 30 plus years old would be a good start. I’m sure it’s coming ( might have even seen something ;)) no idea when however
