Aye I,d say the same, just went and measured the 35 and 65 rims with 12.4 tires and they are both 10 " The 35 has old type Goodyear traction sure grip and even they look pulled in a bit.

the tyre will be a 11/12.4 x 28,
the 11 stands for the rim width recommend, the 12.4 stands for the maximum width of rim it will fit,
IHC are 11" rim, but mf fitted 10" to cut costs, the tyre will look better on 11"

Ten inch rim with 11 28 good year tyre. Not sure what they are off but I bought them to go on a 4 cylinder 35
I also measured the old rim off the 65 and that is 11 inch, 13.6 tyres on it now and they fit fine

9" for the 10/28
10 11s for 12.4
The narrower the rim the more the tyre will looked niped up if its a 12.4 tyre etc

I have some 10 28 good years new if you want em might even have a set of 11 12.4 28 good years new aaswell

Have 600 16 and 7.50 16 in good years to
They are dear though so be warned hahah

if you look at the picture of the wings, and look at the 1 on the right as it shows it better, at the back edge at the bottom near the tool box, and running up that edge to the top near where the back lights are fitted, on bent axle 135 like yours there was a lot smaller gap at the bottom from the tool box to the back edge, running up to the same place as it is now at the top,
when the straight axle came out and the law of tractor manufacturers had to fit roll over protection around 1970 they had a wider gap as yours are from the toolbox to the back edge, this was to get the safety frame bars in behind the lip, and were 2" wider as them in the picture,
we tried to get the proper ones for a 135 we are on with,, could not find any as all new ones are the later type,
so we got a bit taken off and a new edge rolled to fit a bent axle tractor, so it would look right
the newer straight axle 135 we are also on with, are fitted with the later type for the safety cab, so they were not a problem

Oh right thanks for the info.you had me worried for a minute but I can cope with that. Several people have told me it should have the alloy hand grabs because it has the alloy headlights but I know that is incorrect:)
Dad bought the tractor new and have well I would say picture but a slide when it was fairly new

your right by saying that, alloy grab handles went out about 3 years before the alloy head lights were changed to plastic about late 1969

My 135 has a straight axle and alloy headlights but defo never had alloy grab handles, not sure of its year really should get onto fofh and get it registered again.

Looking for some tips on sticking the decals on now. The long Massey ferguson one is what I'm most worried about. Do I start one end and peal as I go but then how do I keep it straights. Any advise most appreciated

Hi yes you can water and soap it
We masking tape a line down the bonnet and at either end then work to that start at 1 end peel an stick as you go use a felt or credit card type thingy madoodar to keep the air bubbles out
Place badge on dont fasten and same with the front one that goes round the grill

Its kindof hard to explain on here hope this gives you some idea though
