150hp tractor

It's my main tractor, so there's just air in the tyres. The back end on them is properly heavy, so for stacking silage bales, loading fertiliser, lifting pallets, etc, it doesn't have a weight on.

The one tonne weight I made is really just on for mucking out with the grab, loading two silage bales at a time into the straw blower, or when the big bucket is on for loading shyte.

There's no weight on front of 6cyl models. I tried ploughing with 5f reversible plough with our 620 and it was hopeless.

Had all this on front and it was still dangerous!

Can drive around yard safely with t7 200 with no weights just front loader.

I cannot recommend buying a deutz the engine is gutless for a 150hp tractor and lack of brakes are dangerous. Best thing about them is how cheap they are to buy second hand but obviously a reason for this.

The new models could be much improved though.

M620 was gutless. The 2valve head and tier 3 emissions setup lacked start off torque, and was slow to recover revs after pull down. They need a remap.

Torque reserve on the 4 valve m625 is night and day. The current 4 cylinder 4 valve is better still than the m625.

Raking straw on steep ground this backend, a neighbours six cylinder T6.175 didn't have enough torque to climb at 1350rpm (for the rake pto speed) and maintain forward speed. My four cylinder deutz 6150.4 complained, but didn't need to drop a gear.

Yes they're light on the nose, and ten 40kg wafer weights aren't enough for a four furrow, let alone a five. Front Axle is built strong enough to take a 4 tonne lift set of front links though, so you just keep adding ballast. NH front axle breaks before that!

Can't say brakes are dangerous. Older models needed a good shove of the pedal. Current ones are hydraulic power assist, and you risk headbutting the windscreen if overly hard on the pedal.

The second hand price is low, but so was the new purchase price. Depreciation in percentage terms was one of the best.

Purchase prices for new are now mental. However spec for spec, they are still lower than most, not that I'll be buying new again.
