17 MTR of combine cutting capacity with 30k worth of kit

A few photos of harvest here that Dorset rural photography took of cutting our last bit of Mulika s wheat . 3 1680's realistically worth 30 k the lot 2x6 mtr 1x5.4 mtr headers can easily clear 120 acres a day depending on crop type . Started that small block of 56 acres at around midday and where all finished and moved back 4 miles by 5.00 pm.

If you’ve go the drivers it must be the cheapest way to combine
if you have a breakdown you’d be very unlucky to not have one still cutting
I agree. Not just for the combines but the trailers required too. Farmer near here had 5 cyclone single row beet harvesters. Now a 6 row.
