This whole process of people buying vintage tractors for ever increasing amounts of money reminds me of the tale about a king’s clothes...............

Hyperinflation due to printing money and effectively negative interest rates. People seem desperate to turn cash into physical goods or assets of any kind.
If you have pile of cash do you trust the banks and with neg interest rates you only have to look at the stock exchange now there is no interest rates they are f##k and the money is moving fast

When we were clearing out my grandparents place we found loads of boxes of linen sheets and other such stuff. During the 1930’s they put any spare cash into goods and assets after a bank or two went bust.
I am inclined to agree with them facing the possibility of negative rates.

When I’m selling one of our old faithfuls I maybe tend to be a bit low on the price. Usually it’s high hours though, and sold to an old boy to restore. Knowing the work and expense a restoration can involve, I don’t see any old high houred tractor as being worth much in its unrestored state.
The tractor in the OP is low hours and looks like it’s been looked after but even so I would have thought £6000 plenty. They certainly ain’t a comfortable drive. But who knows what it will be worth in 20 years so good luck to them!

They will need more than 20 years to get profit on that.

Jesus, the first tractor my first contractor employer handed me was an old 188, for what it was in the late eighties it was still a fair machine but 39k for canvas sheeting to heat the cab and the wonderful !!!!!!!!! Multi power I’m not sure.
Has not the inventor of ‘’low’’ = run off into oblivion got blood on his hands?

Hasn't even got a pick up hitch fitted
No but its got just the right amount of rust 🤗

I dont think there is any point in restoring old tractors now, it seems to be the fashion that something in its working clothes is worth more than something that has had a nut and bolt restoration. There was and immaculate David Brown in Cheffins vintage in concours condition think it didn’t sell at 5k
