A 19-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a tractor in Sissinghurst, Kent.
Kent Police said the incident occurred just before 12:15p.m yesterday (Wednesday, July 24) and is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The collision involved a white Honda XL 125 motorcycle and a green John Deere tractor in Common Road.
Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was confirmed deceased. His next of kin have been informed, Kent Police said.
Kent Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting reference EX/YP/081/24.
Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
A motorcyclist died following a fatal crash with a tractor on the B9136 in Moray earlier this month, and road policing officers are appealing for information.
The crash occurred on the B9136 Glenlivet to Tomintoul Road, Moray, at around 4:40p.m Tuesday (July 9).
The crash involved a blue New Holland Tractor and a green BMW F650 motorcycle.
Emergency services attended the scene of the incident, however the rider of the motorcycle, a 55-year-old man, died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
The road was closed for around 10 hours to allow for investigations to be carried out.
Sgt Lesley Morrison of Elgin Road Policing, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this very difficult time.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam footage which could assist us to contact us.”
