Self serving nationalist and arrogant and incompetent could be said about the Scottish government and as for being dragged out of the EU that could be said of leaving the UK as well .
The reasons the snp wanted to stay in the EU are the same reasons they should stay in the UK, IE free trade open borders free movement etc
Brexit whilst keeping the United Kingdom together or a break up of the UK whilst being in the EU both contradict one another to a point.

Should scotland be an independent country?

Can't remember, should the UK leave or remain?

Not bits of Scotland the whole lot
Not bits of the UK the whole lot

No part of the UK was dragged nor will part of Scotland be dragged, read the question when it comes and answer it, tis simple enough,

I'm not sure I entirely agree with that. Being dragged out of the EU by a self-serving English Nationalist government has strengthened the political case but the financial case still has to be made.
Brexit has maybe given them a political argument but it massively complicates the practical case for independence. If you think the NI protocol is a mess, just how an independent Scotland would survive isolated from its main trading partner to south is anyone’s guess. Plus there’s the question about whether the EU would want or could afford another small, deficit running country hanging on its coattails.

On balance, I doubt many true believers in independence (the more pragmatic ones anyway) would have wanted it, even if it increased the likelihood of another referendum.
