I wondered if anyone might be able to help. I've bought a 2003 McHale HS2000 wrapper with steering axle, but I'm having some difficulty with the steering part.
What I want is to be able to steer the wheels with the bottom buttons while wrapping, but all it will do is judder for a split second. I've spoken to McHale briefly on the phone, but it seems to be a limitation of the design in that it is only meant to self steer behind a baler. I have used newer wrappers on the past where the buttons worked the drawbar while wrapping which would be great if this one could be configured to do that because i could just swap the solenoid plugs but it seems you can only move the drawbar through Operator setup - <DRAWBAR>. Could a different software version be flashed to the control box to allow this?
Also I had the Technician Setup pin written down in an old diary years ago, and now I can't remember it! would anyone be able to remind me?
