I i seem to have oil seeping out under that center pot ,what does it do and how do i get the top off View attachment 986971
Just done one of mine yesterday for the 3rd time🤦‍♂️
How many hours? 8/9k ?
You will probably find the top seal face badly scored and the new seals will only last about 1000hrs I have just modified mine and not yet sure if it is a success but I’ve nothing to loose as a new rotary coupling is £2500
Seals can be had from vickary plant for about £300
Remove pipes from top and bottom, 5 bolts on the top (3 that hold it in and 2 for the locator) and drop it out the bottom or lift it it out the top as one unit.

Friend of mine is looking at 2012 js130 what should he be looking out for. Are they good machine. He is just using it for bits and pieces on the farm nothing too taxing. Just wondered have they any know faults

We have one and if it was doing more than 50-60 hours a year it would be off down the road as its constant electrical problems. Other things to watch is the hand throttle and its best to get it by passed with a direct feed to a new switch in the cab. Mechanically then nothing unusual really. We've done the starter motor and alternator a couple of times since we've had it. Keep the tracks tight like on any 360 as they are a pain to put back on if they come off.
