In your top pic, are you on a tramlining run? Doesn't seem to be any disturbance behind the tractor wheels? How far does your drill lift out the tramlining coulter/leg, on mine it hardly lifts it high enough out to see any kind of uncultivtaed mark, on ploughed land because the rear press wheels are still on the ground it makes no visible pre-em mark at all.

Not 100% sure tbh, looks that way, the leg pulls far enough out the way to see an undisturbed mark, it is better with slightly worn legs I have noticed. What year is your drill? not sure if there was some change in geometry maybe with later drills to give it more clearance?

Ours is a 2014 drill. Dont usually put tramlines in when drilling into stubble, just use previous crop tramlines. Its just a bit annoying on ploughing as we use pre em marks for rolling and spraying. Not ideal if they aren't visible.
