2016 inspection reports

Anyone still waiting for them?

We had a greening inspection in June 2016 with no report yet.

After hearing locally that EFAs adjacent hedges and buffer strips have been ineligible but with no reason given.

I'm getting concerned about ours and if we will have enough for 2017. Why can't RPA get reports out within 6 months of inspection?:banghead:

Within 6 months wouldn't help me though, was inspected in April for a 16 claim and heard nothing. Our agent has gone through our 17 claim again with us and we are all sure it accurately reflects our farms, , EFA's, hedges, PEF, ect, however we don't yet know because we have no report that the information that the RPA is going to use is correct to cross check the 17 claim. Yet they say it my problem to make sure the information they hold is correct.

Same here. Have had to submit this year's claim having not heard why half of my EFA was deemed non compliant last year with resulting £2.5k penalty.

I enquired about the inspection report back in January, but have had absolutely no response. I made several follow up phone calls and emails as well. We were inspected by a man on the ground last May. He said everything was OK when he left. Maybe we had a subsequent aerial inspection as something caused some land parcel remapping chaos which has only just been rectified by me. Maybe it also found some EFA non compliances but we just don't know. This year we have left more fallow as less chance to go wrong with that and used it as EFA but no doubt something won't be right.

I wonder if there has been a change of policy as they don't seem to be responding to queries about penalties at all.

How can they inspect you in April 2017 for your 2016 claim? That highlights the systems wrong.

Had a bit of help from a fellow forum member over what question to ask the inspector about the timing of the inspection and what he could and couldn't relate back to the fully unpaid 16 claim, he tried to say it was a failed satalite inspection started in the claim year, although in march they new of no reason my claim hadn't been paid, have asked for proof that they tried to inspect in the relevant time period but to no avail .

They always say everything is ok otherwise you take them around the farm and show them where they went wrong and then they look incompetant.
Had inspection in May 2015, re mapping fields and mainly checking HLS options. Inspector said was all fine with a few minor mapping alterations. heard nothing in time for 2016. Got HLS manager out to look at reports after 2016 BPS gone in to show him remapping mistakes and HLS options which the inspector did not understand. Manager says all fine and we got HLS paid. Just received bill for from RPA for missing options, reduced field acreages etc. Also a new agreement which does not tie up with RPA maps. WTF, what do we do next?

Having found out a bit more about local greening inspections from 2016.

Inspectors find little or no problems however the problem occurs when their inspections are transcribed onto RPA main system.
Some hedges become ineligible. Some just disappear. Same happens with buffer strips.

The inspectors don't get to see a copy and of what is sent to claimants. We believe the RPA knew of this problem late last year but are relying on farmers to do a query form and sort it this summer.

Is @RPA still on here and would they like to comment.

Unfortunately we still haven't had ours. So just hoping for the best.
