Still no HLS or BPS payment. The most useless incompetent department ever. How on earth are these employees ever going to deliver Goves drivel?.

Do you know where your HLS is being processed?
I had the same problem as you and after a lot of effort managed to get the CS paid, still no BPS though.

In our area all the claims are now being handled at Worcester. If yours is as well then PM me and I will give you a helpful contact?

@Guy Smith , i might be wrong but was led to believe that interest would be payable on amounts owed from previous years if payed after the June following that years claim in an email you kindly sent , please except my apologies if wrong.

Luckily or not we have just been payed the reamiander of 2016's claim but no interest on it. , I spoke to the rpa reference no interest added onto the payment and the quoted the rpa does not pay interest.

https://www.gov.uk/late-commercial-payments-interest-debt-recovery/charging-interest-commercial-debt

As the government has set the above out we are looking at 10% per annum on anything owed from previous claims so well worth having thank you for the inconvince and time our aren't spent writing etc to the rpa , possibly won't even cover his charge.

As the government via the rpa pays us the sfp why should they be exempt from interest , good for the goose , good for the gander.

Also the NFU really does need to push the interest not just on the above paragraphs but also if they are made liable for interest it will sharpen them up to pay up on bloody time full stop.

Ps still to been payed 2017 , still on claim validation.

Just to add while I have a bee in my bonnet leader grants still being payed and now a new grant has been made available , fair enough , but not to those of us one again waiting for last years sfp.

Another point to make on these grants , you need to chip in with a percentage yourself , again fair enough but it does lead some folk not being paid at a disadvantage does it not

Who else has received the email about the bridging payment?

I don’t like the bit where they say that they will start making the payments in April. No mention of when is the latest it will be received!
Quite agree , a shower of sh1te , never had a letter in Jan to say late payment , not had a letter yet about April payment , not optimistic it will be part paid in April either

That's always been our demand but DEFRA have never agreed. With interest rates where they are I'm not sure it would be a huge amount of money.

How about taking a leaf out of the HMCustoms book of rules........... a fine if not paid on time and interest added. (y)

I received my email of a bridging payment today. Not sure why our payment hasn't been paid, as we have had no changes in the last few years and every inspection has been passed. :scratchhead:
