2017 , rapidly turning in to....

Managed to sneak in and do the spring wheat yesterday at about 20%. All baled up too. Just the beans left which aren't really ripe but I would like to have them in by first week of October at the latest. We can get a lot of salt damage in a bad winter so I want decent stands of wheat for the winter.

I'm sooo glad I have my own drier, makes life easier and grain dried straight away seems to work a lot better than piling it up for a week or so and then doing it

Cricky. When I was mowing I was only thinking, "wrapping", bloody hell the sun is fierce now, maybe hay yet:scratchhead:
Forecasts good = Hay, as long as its not too misty in the morns

Edit, just looked at new forecast 10 days of mid 20s .Not much dew after Friday morning.
Getting the combine out for Grass seeds tomorrow, then the Tournesol.
Kids have been sunbathing by the pool this afternoon. (y)
