Started drilling yesterday- apparently the irregularly shaped and different sized seeds are 'normal' for year according to BS. Mine are Force plus enrich. Apparently they present no problems in the drill. I cannot confirm this as drill broke down despite servicing it pretty well during the wet week last week within a couple of rounds.

If you’re concerned then you can take some pictures of the irregular seed shape and send them to NFU Sugar or put them on here? Would be interesting to see how irregular they are!

Oops my mistake. I really must refrain from posting on tff until after atleast my second coffee of the morning:banghead

I worked out the price using an application rate of 0.4 kg/ha and not 0.14 [emoji54]it also means I've got about three and a half times the amount I need sitting in the shed!!!!

Non drilled round here that I'm aware of, I'd guess when April arrives we'll be getting itchy feet
Very sluggish to get going around here too. I haven't started yet as ive been busy with other things and most of my neighbours are either still putting muck on or only started ploughing the last day or two. There'll be a lot go in next week I expect.

Mine are up, would have liked to see them come through a bit quicker normally but glad they didn't due to the wind last week. If they were I would be re drilling next week. Time will tell if I have jumped the gun.
