2019 rainfall so far North Herts South side of Chilterns

Still wet and just 2 frosts, soil is stickier than super glue.
Total rain for November was 56mm making a total for 2019 of 429mm so far.

Morning @capfits But where in the World are you? Your location not active on your avitar! Looks like a flat field in your Av a nice Rainbow but then there looks as if you have some TREES Lincolnshire dont have TREES dose it?

Edit, Just looked out 2014 diary and Jan 14 we had 107mm rain and diary sayng we had rain on 29 days that month!

@Chickcatcher no not Lincolnshire, rather Angus in Northeast Scotland between Dundee and Aberdeen.
I am actually on the edge of hill at 600 feet. 2 other gauges on the farm one at 500 feet was 1030mm and one at 300 feet was 1/2 mm short of 1000mm.
I would have thought With a lot the stuff about rainfall in England you would have been wetter. Perhaps it is further North than yourself.

Wow would never have guessed that from your Avatar.
I am About 35 Miles north of London Bridge just west of the meridian, sometimes a dry place but not nice clay soil.

The average annual rainfall for here (Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway) is 1066mm (3.5ft).

We had 202.2mm in January and 312.8mm in February

That is 515.6mm since 1st Jan 2020.


We had 182.6mm in December 2019 making 698.2mm in just 3 months. (November '19 was very dry with only half the average rainfall for that month)
