If you do get one make sure you religiously clean the knife bank after use, damp grass left there rusts the knife holder pins,I’ve always cleaned and oiled mine after use,but someone I know didn’t and it gets expensive, well not as expensive as a forager.
Yes been told to keep knives cleaned out after each cut.

I’ll second pottinger relief drive a friends really nice machine to use and straight forward and reliable have run krone alongside to do along drag and actually think krone made a better job of processing grass but the machine isn’t as well built. Good to have someone else to team up with to complete long drags.
Had a pottinger on demo for a day and I couldn't fault it, decision is whether go for autosharp system, we've had potty and strautman wagons working here in the last 6 wks and got to say the potty seemed to have a more consistent short chop, with the autosharp he just seemed to keep the knives tip top all day.

If you don’t go auto sharp get double sided blades then you can flip half way through day. Got to agree auto sharp is the business but a 4.5k extra! But then having to set on in a morning and take ever blade out and polish them up with flap disc on grinder when all you want to do is get going and get grass gathered in is a real pain!

That was my thoughts but it's the time factor, you can soon lose an hour or more a day sharpening blades.

We have the option of a demo wagon with autosharp which takes a little of the sting out of it ?

2019 silage season over, 107 bales off 25 acres.

Nearly done here. Just 8 acre of silage to bale today and then some hay/Haylage/muck/whatever to bale mid week that we have had given to clear. Finished new yard yesterday which will stack these last few on. I will be glad to see back of it this year.
