@neilo whats that thing you do with half rate click in the spring?

I do the ewes with half rate in early June, at the same time as I do the lambs.
Like using ClikZin (which is just lower concentration Clik) it won’t last as long as full rate, but will provide cover until shearing late on.

I normally shear in late August, although the weather has pushed it into September the last couple of years, when the lambs are weaned and out of the way. No chem needed after as it starts to get chilly at nights by the time they have any fleece.

Obviously they’d need doing earlier if you get earlier fly problems, but too cold early on here.

Did get a phone call back along, but don't use any Clik products so didn't get the details

The patent has expired on standard clik, so from autumn 2020 any company can produce a version of “clik” (and therefore reduce prices!)
Elanco increased the concentration of ai to launch “clik extra” with a new patent. Others can’t copy this and the marketing machine will push that we can’t do without it... at a price!

You forgot to mention the tub. 😂

Agreed ,and would do a broader range of parasites. Planning on doing ewes twice with Dysect once they are sheared and have got a new cover of wool.

Been a huge fly problem here the last 2 years and I've had to spray my ewes (normally they never get done).

A half rate Dysect/Zermasect spray will do the job on clean ewes with fresh regrowth. So 20ml rather than 40ml (as recommended to me by @exmoor dave ) - 10ml down their back, 10ml around the tail head (but I think I just put 20ml down their backs). So 5l does 250 ewes, instead of 125, it becomes very cheap - and you still get the full 10-12 week cover 👍
