2020 steward ship payment

I had a query this week on a land parcel that has a herb rich mixture in it and on the BPS is entered as TG01 every year.
The RPA computer automatically changes the land use code to PG01 after 5 years it seems. So as this is a stewardship option PG01 is not valid, hopefully the person checking the claim will be able to change this, otherwise another looming penalty and years of arguments and appeals.

That’s good to know
will continue to code as mixed crop a b c or d and keep records of the different crops for each rotational option

We have had a simpler thing with them changing land use codes. It was on a number of fields so will effect are greening. i have send email back say they had made a mistake but heard nothing yet. Hope it sort it self and we get paid BPS.

how is the five years calculated? i sowed some temp grass in 2016 so it appeared on 2016,17,18,19,20 forms....but it was sown april 2016 so really the five years isn't up til 2021 :scratchhead:

so sorry to pick your brain but i ploughed it up july this year for forage rape so how do i communicate that :scratchhead:

July which year? Assuming the 2021 BPS application is same as previous years then it is the land use on May 15 2021. But as from Jan 1st UK will not longer be under EU transition and the three crop rule removed it may be that land use declaration is simplified - as the actual crop is not relevant to calculating the three crop rule requirement. But these comments are supposition on my part.
