Has anyone done much yet?
We’ve started this afternoon, only done about 10 ha so far but seems to be doing around 3.7 t/ha. If it averages that across the board I would be pretty pleased as we’re on light land and have grown far too much of it over the last twenty five years.
BTW it’s Palmedor (HEAR variety).

Done two fields of Aurelia very pleased so far. 8 acre field did 1.8 ton acre and just done 15 acre field today on sand that's done 2.1 ton acre over weighbridge, next field will pull average down however as got swamped with radish from a cover crop from two years before! Still looks promising though fingers crossed.

We got our 30ha of rape cut yesterday. Aurelia drilled late August, half redrilled 20 Sept thanks to flea beetle. Best guess would be 3t/ha average. First load collected today, so should have the rest gone by early next week, then I'll have an accurate yield. Not growing it next year despite the current prices.

Back in OSR today. Running at c. 4 t/ha at 10% moisture. Just 21 ha left but in several small fields. Hopefully wrap it up by Wednesday before the rain arrives.

Are the above weights from over a weigh ridge rather than combine weigher ? Thanks
Ours is from the combine, not a weigh bridge. Normally within 5% though.

We finished yesterday and the last 4ha which had been very heavily grazed by pigeons onl did 1.5 t/ha.
