Similar here in places last year, but smaller lighter tractors, trailers and harvester helped limit the damage.

No land wrecking here in general, good contractor with a small agrifac and sensible trailer driver. Good roads and places to tip. Either subsoil after or drill ww within a day or so.

In the old days, up every row with the cyclone, couldn’t get a round on so narrow tired trailer one end. Take two weeks per field, 3 loads per wk permits. Compaction, wheat not drilled in ideal conditions.
A bit more of a challenge here.

Those pics I put up were around 5 or 6 years. As I said in the last 20yrs we have had it like that maybe twice?

Last year, we had ours done extremely late. And came out like this 👍 (Much more how it normally is for us, by lifting late,at our bidding)

Thats why we had to crack on so he had beet to haul and get done our way so the could haul the late ones out your way. If I remember right yours all went to cantley.
I remember having drilled ours going to Yarmouth for a ice cream and doughnuts and seeing him at the White House still hauling beet to cantley!!!!

Yes went to cantley. Cost us more. But the choice of 3ft ruts and buggered field for 5yrs or like the pictures above, it's a no brainer.
