2022 Sugar beet price not enough

Anybody else had a call from national farm research today . Seems British sugar have employed them to get anonymous feedback on growers thoughts . From what I gather from them the feed back was generally negative some even hostile

I'm not in any rush to fill in my contract offer by 28th November.
With grain prices looking good, feel like cutting down on my acres of beet. Still got a year left of some tonnage on a 3 year deal.
Also factory only just starting to improve processing. Going to be a long season, just see how it pans out first.
