Maybe so, but that was a good bullMaybe this gives a sense of scale of the prices paid in the past (the inflation price is the gns in today’s money) View attachment 937647BView attachment 937648

Just use the "Herd Basis"Pedigree breeders, selling and buying vastly overpriced animals, can get into awful difficulties regarding taxation.
Do you save any tax by buying a very expensive animal. It goes down in your closing valuation at the same price.
Unless it dies and you haven;t got it insured - in which case you're quids (or gns) in.
I bet my Dad could have beaten your Dad.
At least if you had one.
That reply shows how weak you must be I will leave it there
Who is he?This bull was sold I think in 1974 for £17000 gns. Wonder what that would be worth today. Semen still available and being used - wish I could get my hands on some!View attachment 937657
Free Town KendalWho is he?
There's certainly isn't much feminine about her.Free Town Kendal
Having just seen a photo of the Limousin heifer, it certainly has very extreme conformation- would anyone risk breeding from it naturally?
I wouldn’t assume so?
Don't say that, my new stock bull is double qMessrs Jenkinson and Charlie Boden. Best of luck to them. With 2 copes of the Q204X double muscling gene it won’t be an easy calving line anyway
