Yes, I’ve found them very good to deal with. Other than the usual checks, looks for crisp gear changes and a ‘0’ on the lift control display. The faulty fuel gauge is a common niggle.

good hyd brakes at 40k we are not on any hills and most of the work is in fields unless we buy a slurry tanker

the same wagon is being pulled with an 8560 nh at the minute and its well able to pull up in a hurry,but taking off is the problem

Please bear in mind then that 30 ton takes some stopping if you no engine
My mf cut out with me 1 day a few years ago,luckily I had nothing behind going through local town at about 20/22mph.
Had barely any steering so had to drift on to the pavement and unbeknown to me at the time the emergency accumulator was flat/knackered so needed handbrake to pull up

That ended up event free but could have so easily have been a disaster if I'd have been towing my wagon on hydraulic brakes

Mine is on air,f**k it lifes to short
