Chapman argicultural services has a case mx270 on agriaffaires with around 5k hours for 27500. That would be a good match to a tri axle wagon as its heavier than a nh t7070 or case puma 230

they look very big would they be as handy turning in a yard as a 7070

we had a 7040 out for a couple of days and it seemed a bit dead would the 7060 be a lot better can they be mapped

why ?

Bouncy with no suspension. Vibrates at certain speeds (new tyres would probably help though). Nice big comfortable seat helps. Some people don’t like the powershift for road work, but I like it.

The problem is that size tractor were very rare 20 years ago , so not much secondhand around , a fendt 930 might do. If you can find a fendt with a new vario it might be worth a look.

a bergmann shuttle 820 which is a 44 cubic wagon pulling it with an 8560 nh which has a sick transmission at the minute but we are looking at a wagon a bit bigger with 3 axles

The problem with those older renaults was electrics . Ask Alan Douglas for tips about it , he’d know them inside out.

He’s ok,he’s just sourcing tractors from auctions and selling them on,personally I’d miss him out and buy direct at auction.

Having towed my own wagon for the last 10 years I’d be having a vario type gearbox either a dyna-vt or autocommand,an old shagger of a magnum will be a numb lump.

i know nothing about fendts and noone around me repairs them ,its nh case claas or jd but thanks ill look it up

You would not get a better tractor for your job and them fendt tractors are bullet proof
