2630 screen and amazon sprayer problems.

Try a full cold/hard reset, removing the power lead after completing a normal shutdown. Then plug back in. and restart.

Next thing would be to back up display data to USB and do a factory data reset. This should erase all the data on the display (be careful you have a full back beforehand) and then restore it all again.

Tried it cheers.
Screen seems back to normal but still thinks it's got different sprayer on.
Managed to get hold of a jd guy.
Says it's probably a glitch in sprayer as it's same basic software on all models so might need amazone to check it.

So screwed till Monday

Never seen an Amazone Isobus sprayer screen alive but looking at the manual I can see a lot of settings as if the sprayer control unit would need to be configured for the sprayer it is attached to.

Can you enter any settings menu from the isobus sprayer terminal? There are even selectable profiles, wonder if the sprayer has lost all settings or just lost the profile selection.

It won’t be an issue with the screen (I’m presuming it’s a jd2630 screen), with an iso-bus system all your setting will be stored on on the sprayer. You should be able to connect to any iso terminal and have the same settings. Sounds like something has been reset in the sprayer ecu.

All setting are held on the sprayer job computer. Sounds like you have plugged it in with engine running and its reset it.

Sounds like very bad design? Of course always safer to avoid hot plugging but it still should be quite unlikely to cause issues if the connected device is properly built.

Aren't Amazone controllers made by Müller Elektronik, should be good.
