Looking For Work 28 year old Joiner looking for a new career within the arable side of farming.

Thanks for reading my post.

I have been a joiner for nearly 12 years and have been itching at a career change for some time now. I wasn't sure at first what it was other then construction I would like to do, but after some time I have decided to try and pursue a career in the arable side of farming. In my pursuit to get a foothold in the industry I have contacted many farmers and gained advice from them but unfortunately have had no luck gaining work opportunities as of yet. I have been informed many a time that reliable workers are hard to come by in agriculture. I would like to assure you that I am extremely reliable and understand the hours and passion it takes to be a farmer in general. To further my chances of getting some work I have recently done my NPTC telehandler training and I'm currently looking into doing my tractor certificate and PA1 training as a start.

I would like to stress that I'm giving up on a 12 year career in construction to try and get a job in agriculture, so I would be coming into a new job eager and committed to learn as much as possible. I know for a fact that I would be an honest and reliable employee if given the chance.

I'm looking for full time work or any experience that can be offered, or even advice.

I'm based in East Yorkshire, but I can drive so would be willing to travel as long as it was financially possible.

If anyone would like a copy of my CV feel free to ask and I can email one across.

Many thanks again for taking the time to read my post.
