Yeah, but that’s the gas used for generating electric. Is there any significant amount of gas into the domestic grid for heating?

At its peak gas demand for heating can be 10 times that amount used for generating so yes very significant. That demand could be significantly reduced if Passiv house regulations where put in place for new build and old houses upgraded with better insulation and draught proofing.

Not at all. I’m trying to understand how bad it could be for the country in a situation where energy imports were degraded by something such as Brexit shenanigans.

Think Russia oil and Gas supply to rest of The EU is major concern for them not us.

EU (including UK) farmers can get EU money (reassigned UK tax payers money) for doing basically fekk all.

That's,an interesting point. If they are all made to work for their money then with the resulting glut of food on the market food prices would complete collapse surly

Preumably that’s why we are paid to do environmental schemes on an area basis and no longer food production on a headache basis.

Totally wrong in a UK context hence all the references to Europe. The major pipelines for UK are direct from Norway to UK.

Technically by law UK Leaves 12th April 2019.
So therefore can not take part in EU elections.
Also what's the point of voting MEP 's in if coming out ?
