I’m sure they won’t mind the publicity, just come across this on Facebook not in the market (unless we sell our 3 tractors, combine and possibly JCB!:eek:o_O).

Is this price for real?! Looks very tidy and well speced but blow me, gobsmacked.

It is getting ridiculous a small farmer like me has no hope of upgrading tractors as they are all making stupid money now. I'm farming with 1970s machines and can't afford anything from the late 90s as they are all bloody classics now and now way I can even look at new. I could sell everything I own and still not even afford half a new machine.

Anyone can ask whatever they want for a machine but unless a absolute idiot with that money happens to turn up with a desire to part with it then its only worth the market price which I'd guess would be 20k ish below asking price.
Very often a dealer is to blame for exaggerating a trade-in price with an overinflated new price and giving a false sense of worth of a machine.

And always remember that a machine on a dealer's forecourt will be marked up substantially more than they paid for it.

that's not a bad price, maybe a couple thousand OTT but not far off

about correct based on recent discussion with our dealer re a new machine

and they say Fendts are expensive ? given that I bought similar tractors the same year for 110 and 115 respectively its not exactly been expensive for its owner has it !!

Only if you were packing up farming.
The real ownership cost is what a new one discounts at minus what you get for the trade in .

agree but nice to know your investment is safe

new prices are up across all brands from quotes I have had but some brands are without doubt holding value FAR better than others ?

what's a HD 6210r worth today because new it 2015 it was only 2 k less than the Fendt 724 to buy

I would not say it is to far out, not many about for sale at the moment & hours are low as well

suppose its got front links and air, that must add at least £1500 to its value.
on other hand it will quickly want £5000 of rubber.
Could be cheap power, £2000 interest and maybe lose another £5000 depreciation
