Does anyone buy new 2wd tractors around the 100 horse power nowadays?

What would be the cost of a MF 5710 or 5711 2wd (if they are available)
You would be surprised there are still a few new ones being bought every year one of our customers bought a new case last year as a yard tractor, it had a very long lead time on it and from what he said about 12k cheaper than a 4WD

About 6 or so years ago we were looking for a good 2nd hand 2wd tractor, Ford 5000/MF 390 sized vehicle.
After looking at lots of tractors that were quite frankly overpriced wrecks we started looking at new ones. NH, Landini, and Same didn't bat an eyelid and went through various options and models for us. MF were not really bothered and JD and Class couldn't get one that was physically big enough for us (we wanted 34" rear wheels) and also quoted big build time delays.
I got the impression that a 2wd tractor was still quite common for the Italian manufacturers, still selling more basic tractors into the smaller scale Ag business in and around the Med.
It seams that they are still available if you want one and are prepared to wait,

We have had a good few 2wd yard tractors over the years the last one was a MF 6255 and when I put it up for sale i sold it with in hours ,so there must be a good demand for tractors like that

We had a 2wd 5445 bought 2009 from a cancelled order from an amenity contractor. Decent spec with front linkage and upgraded twin pump hydraulics. Sold it last year for €4k less than we paid. Did all the topping, mowing, sowed grass seed, carted straw. Only sold when our dealer brought in a very tidy late model 5455 with cab suspension, delivering a lot more straw from the yard now over winter and the one downside on the 2wd it was not a tractor for road work.

Oh them look smart, I too have a 54 bought second hand with 1500 hours, it had been on a council clamping compound with a car lifter on the back, the spools and pto had never been used. Its turned 6k hours now, nimble and powerful and perfect for manouvering around buildings, blowing straw about

Obviously I'd never do any heavy field work with it
