So the taste of summer I promised you as arrived with highs of 24C/75F being recorded today and even higher tomorrow with a high of 27 or 28C in the 80’s F

Mostly dry and sunny in the south, after any mist and fog clears felling humid, the north of Ireland, north Wales and England will see heavy thundery showers or longer periods of thundery rain with local flooding in places, Scotland will heavy persistent thundery rain for much of the day again local flooding possible here too. Feeling rather warm in the south with highs of 27C/80F
Wednesday 23-8
With pressure low to the west of Scotland a cold front will clear east coast. so rain in northern and eastern Scotland as well as eastern England at first. This clearing later. While drier and brighter weather follows from the west still the chance of one or two showers in the afternoon. Most other places should remain dry and bright in the afternoon with sunny spells. Feeling a little bit fresher from the west with Highs at 23C/73F

Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in to western Scotland and the north of Ireland, windy here too. eastern Scotland may start drier but showers and rain will move in later. Elsewhere it will be dry with plenty of sunny intervals although increasing cloud with a risk of some showery bursts of rain possible later in to northwest England, Wales and southwest England. becoming windy in the west too. Highs up to 23C/73F

Low pressure remains over Scotland on Friday. rain and showers across Scotland and many northern parts of England. More southern and western areas are likely to become drier and brighter with sunny spells developing feeling warm with Highs up to 25C/77F
