A informed friend said problem has effected very little in terms of grid capacity, sure he said 2mw worth and it’s been completely blown out of proportion as you’d expect.
No it is 2 gigs worth about the capacity of Sizewell B. 5 years ago it would have been irrelevant, today we are running that close to the wire. Why do you think the future price of power doubled?

Can somebody please explain to me why the official inflation rate is 3.2% yet the real world figure is about ten times that?

Does the basket of goods come from Aldi?

Most things in the Gov basket are things that people rarely buy!

Farming related inflation must now be at 20%

General inflation at least 10% and more than likely 15%

2nd hand cars alone have gone up by 20% on 12 months ago!

The Govs inflation figures are a work of pure fiction but the way inflation is rising so fast they will not be able to ignore the true inflation rate for long!

There will not be a 3 day week this winter!

When things get really sticky ref power supplies the Gov will release some made up rubbish about the NHS is about to fall apart and that to save the NHS they have no other option but to bring in another full lockdown and will make it illegal for most industry's to operate/ open.. that is what will happen!

You can have all the power you like,
But
UK’s network is at capacity now,
The infrastructure hasn’t been improved as promised to fulfil projected demand,
There will be problems a plenty,

Prices seem to have crept up for PTO and also the smaller compact gennies....

Have to fire up the coal power stations again. Hopefully this is a wake up call about relying on other countries to provide our power/food / workforce/ cars/ leccy goods/ steel.........

But I doubt it........
Aberthaw was soon fired up when the beast from the east stuck.
So much for greta thumberg then?
But think turning it into a fusion power station or something so that be out of the equation along with lots of others!

Ammo??? ;)

Gotta start thinking like American Survivalists... or not!
Thats why theres been an ammo shortage here , the yanks have been stock piling , some in 10`s of thousands of rounds since Biden and Covid , not than many of them could resemble anything like an Infantryman if there was serious civil unrest .

We need to build large 'Hamster wheels' that can take 20 people. At least one in every town, many more in big cities. All immigrants coming over in boats. Criminals and unemployable do a 4 hour shift producing power. It will solve the energy problem and it's 'Green' what's not to like.
Wot abowt theer uman rites? :ROFLMAO:

Well the average power output of a human is about 200 watts that would keep my kettle going at least
