3" od asbestose main

I've to do some work on a main
install stop tap , tee in a 25 mm line renew about 6 - 10 meter due to leak

local firm suggesting compression coupler , steel I think 57 -74 mm so should work , either end
then either rigid pvc between 63mm 6 m lengths
or flex which he didn't recommend ( what id call alkathine I think )

so joints on pvc glued ?

in my mind it would have been a blue alkathine flex between the two couplers 30 odd mm ....

does pvc sound right ?

Viking johnson couplers 2" grey pvc pipe 60 70 mm ? Then stop tap ect. To be glued

I managed to get some Plasson couplers which fitted onto the asbestos one end with a reducer down to 32mm blue alkathine the other end, worked fine

we left the asbestos in the ground after it went porus, just pushed a new smaller alke pipe down through 400 meters in 1976, not touched it since

Did u litteraly push it thru
Or blow rope . Pull through
Far as I know the original is in fair condition
As an aside. Been trying to get advice\quote of ttpumps for boost system. They seem pants to deal with ,is it just me ??
