3 point linkage muck spreaders

Anyone running one of the Fleming Mini Mucks or Nugent 3 point linkage spreaders? Am wondering if I can get the girlfriend to empty the horse barrow into this and I can then spread when needed.
Be easier than starting a heap or emptying into the trailer and trying to get the trailer emptied

Ive no doubt it'll work but such things tend to rot away fairly quickly when left filled with muck.

I know a few people who have an old telehandler grain bucket sat for horse muck which is easy to empty.
Cheers, was my concern, but was hoping to empty it every week and try and look after it.
Sadly no telehandler just a Renault with a strange headstock but a bucket could work for that if I can find one to fit

The other downside is you'll have most muck to spread in the winter.

Can you get on the fields every week during winter without making a mess?
Where are you going to put it?

You're better off having a heap near the stables and spread it once a year.

Put some hard standing down (NOT RUBBLE!) and push it up with the tractor.

Approx £1000

for not a lot more you can have a bigger stronger spreader.. could younot dig a hole/parking space With a slight ramp so she can tip the barrow into a rotor spreader

I have considered this, I have a track I can unload off most of the winter and hopefully get it onto other ground the rest of the time.

At the moment there is a trailer and ramp which works ok and it’s tipped in the field and a contractor comes and spreads it

A bucket would be useful and maybe is the way to go to start with

Got to be worth a go for 1k like others said need it more in winter when you probably can spread it
You obviously value £1k a lot lower than I do!!!
That £1k piece of chinese junk will be worth beggar all in a year once you've had your experiment and decided it's rubbish.
just buy a 10t root trailer that will hold a months muck. A root trailer is longer and lower so won't have to be heaped up as much

1k is a considerable amount t of money. It will last more than a year. Plus wont have to pay for a contractor

What makes the loader I font think thsts a headstock. I think you could take that off and fit a bucket

It’s BAAS did start a thread about it ages ago and Never really got to the bottom of it

Interesting, I've been looking at building one for a while. I'm thinking a great starting point would be a surplus stainless milk tank (small) to help with the poo-stickage/corrosion side of things and small enough it could just live on the Nuffield.

I feared if I brought it up I'd be laughed out of town but there is little point spreading biological amendments in the heat of summer when the land can handle the weight of gear contractors use, because it's dead by lunchtime with the heat, and I spend 3 years getting it to the right point

I think it's a quick hitch for old pin type equipment this might fit
