We have had an average of 600 people become members a month for the past 4 years. Its stays remarkable static, so there are always new contributors joining. But for every 1 that is a member, there are another 10 that just read. But then for every teacher, there are generally 30 students.

How do we know they aren't Russian agents from StPetersburg spreading 'Fake News'? Pretty sure that some of the contributors to 'Hay and Straw Price Tracker' are foreign agents spreading mischief and discontent. Some must be foreign agents, because they certainly can't write the Queen's English. Perhaps we should read that topic from right to left for it to make any sense or to break the code?

I've only ever written 93 private messages!
And most of those are in three longish conversations with three different people.
I think that's about a 1:50 ratio. If I've got something to say, I don't mind who sees it. (Usually!)

Best of luck to you, hope you get another 30,000 members soon.

It does attract the odd plonker from time to time on some threads, but on the whole, its a great forum made up of like minded, sensible people and its free!

What else can we ask for.

I havn't counted but I think I have been a member of about a dozen forums. They have all been free. Is there such a thing as a forum you have to pay for?

I was referring more to the information, that we gain for free.

Especially in the machinery section with regards to how to diagnose problems or carry out repairs etc.
