Pallet forks squeezed together will work. One person turning the coil as quad bike pulls it on.

We have made a similar attachment but have it on the front of our loadall. Makes unrolling pipe a one man job.

Hold the coil and spill off 6 or 8 rounds, turn coil and spill the same number on the other side , repeat till its gone.
Spilling from on side then the other means when pulled out its straight not coiled in a spring. Takes a bit of care but does work, can use technique for wire, land drain etc.

Dont know how your laying it but after usting a local contractor to do some land drain unless your moleploughing it in id definitely use them to trench it in verry fast and not expensive i gather im in a similar area to you and the trencher unrolles it straight in

Just unroll it by hand it wont take too long, although everytime i unroll a coil i think i must get an unroller!

The easy way is with 2 people. One to guide the 'roll' and one to place the lead coil.
5 mins max /roll easy

Best tip I ever read on here is to tie the end with long rope to quad or tractor and drive around field. It'll spin around on the rope and uncoil and you end up with a nice, placid pipe that won't spring out the ground or re coil itself up. it makes it absurdly easy to do on your own!

worked brilliantly and the difference in water pressure has been dramatic

I wish I had put 32mm on the main up the farm instead of 25mm, as I thought I would get less pressure loss (200' of rise, and I think 900yards distance), am I right in thinking the pressure loss would be less?

In warm summer weather we reroute our field supply via a booster pump fed from the power hose/ plate cooler tank, so we can increase the pressure at the farm end of the line , made a huge difference in our case.
Had to put a full flow ball valve on the tank to keep it full enough. In hot weather the mains pressure really drops off in the yard close to the meter.
