3m combi drilling

It can be so deceptive. That doesn't look so bad in front of you at all. Manage with 125HP here on 3m mixed soils but mostly flat. Speed can be as slow as 5k but normally 7-8 occasionally up towards 10. It would be better on 150. Have a front press and eradicators on PH try not to have it in any deeper than necessary.
Pictures deceptive, and has had a pass with the ph already to knock it down.
But as a comparison I’ve just moved over the track and doing 9k straight in the ploughing.

I lnow a man who had a 3m combo on a ford 6640
It was on its knees all day, poor thing
We used to have a 3m Amazone with hyd front fan blowing back the fert on a 7840 and jeez that gave her a workout.
Used to manage 20-25 ac a day running on pressed ploughing.
The hills weren't the bother, it was the soft stuff that slowed you down.
The front hyd fan was the killer, if you forgot to pull the spool it was like getting another 25hp :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Run same outfit on a 150hp now and can't see the need for more.

Did this person offer to use the OP services last autumn, or just now when Mr big person is not interested in small awkward fields that we do not know! If the person who is asking to use the OP is trying to barter with the intention of renting his ground in future, then I believe it is just not worth it, usually if offered you are only used to set the market rent!
Perhaps it would be better to start negotiating now to rent their fields then!
