Before I spend more on the sledge than the sledge is worth... anyone got one of these lying around. Those in my own scrap collection are all either too big or too small!

Well that was unnecessarily complicated :ROFLMAO: The 40mm one didn't leave enough thread exposed to fit the retaining nut... so decided to put it on the front jockey wheel instead... should have been simple but after 50 years the front axle was not keen to come out without a fight  eventually it yielded but only after I had deformed the nut and stripped most of the thread in the process :banghead: lacking the tools to re-thread it was time for plan D or E? found a 25mm pin the right length to use as the new axle and by luck bit of pipe that reasonably bushes it to meet the 40mm roller bearings… then found another bush just right to reduce the 30mm holes to meet the 25mm pin so cut that in half ... add a couple of bits of water pipe to washer it.. and hey presto bodging at its best... might go to some household electrics next  I better put a drawbar on and take it for a test drive before I get too excited though..
