I am looking for a plough that is suitable to use on both mf165 and nuffield 1060.
I think preferably discs and skims all round.
4 furrow?

It could be 5 furrow and I dismantle.

Any ideas on models and makes to look for.
It will be used to do 3 ha a year for cover crops
Thanks

I used to pull a 4 furrow Kverneland MZ with hydrein bodies with our 165....keeping the front wheels down was a bit of an issue
Oh yeah these young lads who think they are doing so well pulling 4 furrows with 150hp forget that years ago it was quite common to see 4 (albeit conventional plough ) behind something a lot smaller. I have ploughed many a happy acre with a 4 x 14" Kv MZ with hydrein bodies at 8 " deep on medium loam with a MF 168, in 3rd low high multipower and my dad with A 175 before that.

I know we all know this, but it all depends on the ground doesn't it chaps! Suffolk coast sand and Suffolk clay are only 20 miles apart!

ive pulled 3 furrow KV behind nuff 10/60, no trouble at all, only had the extra weight under the radiator, no wheel weights and pulled it easy hardly knew it was there.

Hi. I’m new to ploughing. Looking to do a bit of match ploughing and the occasional field. It will either be behind a 265 or 165. I have found two options local to me. A two furrow furguson. Or 4furrow kv as mentioned above. Both about the same money. Opinions and reasons on the better option….
thanks.
