4G EE contracts

Looks like next summer before BT get FTTP down this way (seeing is believing)
So have to renew EE 4G contract
What price has anyone got them to quote for 100 GB a month ?
They usually run some deals in January, to keep the punters rolling in after the Xmas splurge. Might we worth waiting till then? I’m interested too as I’m up for renewal. Also some better leverage/discounts if you’ve got another contract/numbers with them.

Openreach were busy putting new street cabs in the village and near our lane, around six months ago, since then nothing.

My 64 gb is £20 + vat , get 2 of them .
Couldn’t get that good a deal unfortunately!

I have overlapping 24-month agreements with EE for 4G broadband. So 2 SIMs and the router is setup to automatically flip over to the next SIM service when all the data is used up on the first.

My last 64 GB contract was £22.83 + vat which was 50% off the headline rate and 10% extra off for having a second line with them (the other 4G SIM).

It’s of course more expensive than DSL, but the DSL performance here is so utterly crap, it’s not worth having, so I simply pocket the £15 or whatever it is now landline rental (my “landline” is VoIP) and DSL broadband rental. Makes it a bit more bearable.

Mobile service is patchy here in places and not useable indoors so it gets boosted up using either Vodafone SureSignals (troublesome little things) or WiFi Calling (bliss). This all gets carried back over the internet via main router / EE 4G service which runs off external antenna up an ally pole from the router to get reasonable reception from local mast.

What sort of dual sim router have you ?
CradlePoint AER3100 which is a fancy bit of kit - 2 radio slots and 2 SIMs in each radio. 12 Ethernet ports, power over Ethernet on 4 of them.

There are other brands of router which are dual SIM but far cheaper. So I would stop short of recommending this one.

I like the CradlePoint because I use the second radio for a completely independant network using Voda. But it’s really not necessary for a farm office and home setup.

Best I could find was a 50gb option and then we have to top up in 20gb bundles which works out very expensive.

Would certainly be interested if something better comes up!

As said should be some deals next month...

Normal tariffs....you’re really looking to score these for 50% (or 60% off with a second contract/number with them)
