Any good deals on the go yet?

Been offered 50gb a month for 24.99 on EE. How does this sound? It's a 2 year contract.
That’s the one I signed up to last month. I couldn’t find anything better price wise on a network that had good coverage.

Not much cop here though. I tried a payg data sim last year from them and it was poor 3G coverage at best.

Is that 50% off the headline rate?

As it happens I called retentions this afternoon, as my contract is up next month, and they said they couldn't do any better than my current expiring deal....oh well round 1.

There a bunch of bandits. They dropped price dramatically by just asking if that was best they could do as I already have router. Have 3 phones on SIM only with EE business.

I've found them fantastic to deal with. Always answer phone straight away. No network problems like we had with Vodafone previously.

I still split the difference with Vodafone, keeping them for handsets (SIM only) as they are the two strongest networks here.

They certainly had a "oh well can't really do better than that" attitude today, next week I'll call to cancel and see what rabbit they extract.

Good to keep them on their toes.

Edit - I should add that he spent most of the call trying to convince me to go fibre (we had some cabinets installed down the end of the lane a while ago) however when pressed he admitted he could not guarantee a connection speed, about 5.8 Mbps which is what his computer told him. Seeing as I get 60 down and 40 up now on the 4G service, I cant see why I'd lock myself into a contract and chance it just to confirm it was still crap. The lines back to the cabinet are as crap as they ever were before.

Hope this isn't the effect of BT's influence on them. God help us all.

Three have an unlimited sim only for phone now, would this sim work in router? It’s got a 30gb hotspot limit though? Currently on a 30gb phone sim only which I tether to ioad etc as Landline is still well below 0.5mbs. 3g varies from 1.5 upto around 9mb dependin where in house and time of day!!! Thinking that a router with antenna would improve things slightly

Vodafone masts used to go down for days at a time. They wouldn't even admit there was a problem.

Then when we tried to leave because no network they tried to charge us extra to break contract.

Thats what I use, a huawei sim router . 10 times better than my old BT Broadband . What network are you on ?

My two current EE SIM deals work out at £55.98 inc per month for 114 GB. So 38.9p per GB if I was to use the entire allowance.

They are staggered 24-month deals: the first SIM was £24.75 inc. for 50 GB which I'll be out of contract in February. The second SIM was £27.45 inc for 64 GB taken out in May.

There is/was a 10% existing line/customer discount on top of the 50% off headline rate when each contract commenced. EE also re-index each June in line with the RPI so those prices have crept up about 2.5% from start date to arrive at the £55.98 monthly figure.

Its still better than what they offered me on new contract yesterday.
