Rain and wind, Wet in western Scotland through the day - snow over the Highlands and Grampians. Heavier rain reaching northwest England during the afternoon. Risk of some localised flooding. while rain and drizzly in Wales and the southwest. slightly milder temperatures, but severe weather is on its way in the west. with winds increasing to gale or severe gale force later Highs around 8C/46F

Anglia weather:
Forecast: Breezy and less cold today with bright spells. Increasingly windy and wet tonight with a spell of heavy, persistent rain after midnight. Wind gusts 55-60mph during the second half of the night, and an isolated gust of just over 60mph not ruled out, especially along the southeast coast. Rainfall totals up to 10-15mm.
(4c here at the moment ...feels like 0c, high of 9c later).
