Do you have them with dusk/dawn daylight sensors instead of PIR?
Thank you for your question,
The PIR floodlights have dusk to dawn capability, unfortunately this capability doesn’t work independently from the PIR. You would need to purchase a non PIR Led lamp and a separate dusk to dawn sensor; sorry we don’t stock this sensor.

On your website you say "This type of light is mainly used in agricultural buildings along with a main light source such as LED High/Low Bay or LED Flood Light.

This combination of lighting is used for the improvement of animal health and increased production levels."

Please can you tell me more? i.e. how does red light increase production and improve health?

and....

I require 200 lux /M2 at ground level from a lamp/lamps set at say 15' high.

What do you recommend and what coverage can be achieved per lamp?

Thank you for your question,
Light intensity, daylight hours and the colour of light all influence animal behaviour. The correct balance of these three factors have a positive effect on the livestock. Research has shown that this combination makes a substantial, positive contribution to the health, welfare and productivity of your herd.
Having between 16-18 hours of light at an average of 180-200 lux with a minimum light level of 150 lux within the building, and darkness for the remaining 6-8 hours will provide the positive benefits. The red light is for your benefit to check your herd when in the 6-8 hr dark period as you don’t want to introduce high intensity light in that period.
To recommend the light levels please PM us with the building dimensions in meters L x W x H and height at eve.
