We will install 2 units of sprinklers per panel ( Sprinklers are patented and specifically designed ) to clean panels. Self-cleaning Coating cleans panel surface DAILY as the surface will become self-cleaning. The rain will also do its bit but THE SPRINKLERS WILL BE PROGRAMMED VIA A CONTROLLER TO RINSE THE PANELS ONCE A WEEK - AT A SPECIFIC PRESSURE, VOLUME ETC. Water can be recycled via the gutter.

Result will be = Clean panels 365 days in a week.

WE DID NOT EVEN ADD THE EXPORT TARIFF TO THE EQUATION ! We also assumed 20% loss. When the coating cleans your panel surface daily and the sprinklers rinse them weekly, i expect less than 5% loss in efficiency.

There are panels that we coated 2 years ago, and all the rinsing that they get is from the rain, and they still look so shiny.

How does it fair with the hard winters we do or may get .

Pipe-lines will be insulated to cater for winter periods.

A specialized pump will supply the pipelines with water from a reservoir tank at a specific PRESSURE AND VOLUME to the sprinklers. As there MIGHT be some water residue left in the pipe-line after every rinsing session, the INSULATION will prevent the water from freezing. Also, IN WINTER, the timing of rinsing will be such that, when the water touches the panel surface, it will not FREEZE on the panel.

Kindly allow me to also say that " WHEN SOLAR PANELS ARE VERY HOT, THEY PRODUCE LESS THAN COOLER SOLAR PANELS". Our self-cleaning coating has been found to reduce the temperature of a panel surface by around 6 degrees - adding to the efficiency of the panel. The coating also increases the absorption of sunlight by up to 6%, due to the anti-reflective property of the coating. Coating is based on Titanium. Titanium has natural self-cleaning properties.

If your believe your system is so good and most of the farmers on here are sceptical about your results how about we split the uplift in my solar Pannels over say 4 years if you say it has a one year pay back this would mean that over the 4 years you would get double what you are selling them for !

I install large PV systems over 100kw they do not need cleaning. If it was financially viable then they would get cleaned but its not.
One of our 90kw dusty field sites this summer, with no rainfall for 2 months, has outproduced the last 4 years by at least 20%.

LIMESCALE - Limescale is easily removed. Water will always be processed by a REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM into a reservoir tank before it is pumped on the panels. Another system that we can incorporate is a water softening system. Limescale is never a problem, even for window cleaners, that is why they rinse the windows and it does not leave limescale water marks. Removing limescale from the tap water is one of the easiest part of our job.

FREEZING OF WATER - Most of the water will actually drain out of the sprinklers, pipe-line and control valves. The only place that would really need proper insulation will be the reservoir tank which will hold the water for a while, before the rinsing. A panel will be rinsed for about 50 seconds per rinsing session - using about 2 litres of water per sprinkler, using in total, around 4 litres of water per panel. I don't want to go too technical. The tank will be fully insulated so that the water does not freeze. The pipe-lines will actually have no problems as in winter, the panels would be rinsed at a time in the day when it is not too cold or else, the water from the reservoir tank will turn to ice, immediately when it is sprinkled on the panels.

CLEANING PANELS IS NOT FINANCIALLY VIABLE - YES - IF - you are doing it the old way by paying someone once every 6 months to clean your panels . But with our system, it is not just financially viable, it becomes a money making machine as it is a one-off system that ensures HIGH EFFICIENCY FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS.

As you already know, in business, there are always costs involved. With our maintenance system, it costs money to buy the materials and products that we need. But from our experience and insight, below is what can work on your proposed model :

(1) WE CAN TREAT THE PANELS ONLY - NO SPRINKERS INSTALLED.

Treatment means ( Cleaning, Polishing and Coating ) the panels with our self-cleaning coating. The coating will clean the panel surface DAILY and we will allow the rain to do the rinsing. This way, the total installation cost will be lower, while still increasing the efficiency of the panels. Coating will last for at least 10 years, up to 25 years. The coating will make the panels become cleaner for longer - increasing the efficiency of the panels. The rain will rinse the panels, instead of the sprinklers.

In this case, IF THE PV SOLAR SYSTEM FITS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA :

(1) MINIMUM OF 100 PANELS SYSTEM OR MINIMUM of 25KW SYSTEM .
(2) PANELS ARE VERY DIRTY OR HARDLY EVER CLEANED OR BETTER STILL, NEVER BEEN CLEANED AT ALL.
(3) INSTALLED AT LEAST 4 YEARS AGO. THE LONGER THE BETTER.

For such systems, we would arrange to TREAT THE PANELS for an initial deposit of £10 per panel ( Normally £20 per panel ) - and then, we would expect a 50% share in the INCREASE IN EARNINGS FOR 3 YEARS ONLY. From year 4 , the whole increase in earnings will belong to you - the customer. For customers that are happy to just pay the whole cost upfront, with no share in earnings given to us, it will be £20 Plus Vat per panel.

E.g. a 25KW OR 100 Solar panel system, producing £8000 yearly and hardly cleaned.

(1) We would charge £10 per panel to treat the panels = £1000 Plus vat.
(2) Plus, we would expect 50% share in the increase in earnings for 3 years ONLY.

OUR ESTIMATED PROJECTION FOR SUCH A SYSTEM WILL BE :

(1) Earnings before TREATMENT = e.g. £8,000
(2) Earnings 1 YEAR after TREATMENT = e.g. £10,000 ( PANELS COATED ONLY ).

HOW WE NANO-TREAT THE SOLAR PANELS.

We really prefer panels that have NEVER BEEN CLEANED BEFORE, BECAUSE THEY BEST DISPLAY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT.

(1) 1ST - WE CLEAN THE PANELS
Cleaning of the panels is done using long poles with specialized brushes and 0 PPM de-ionised water to clean panels. All surface dust and dirt are to be cleaned off.

(2) 2ND - WE WIPE THE PANELS.
You might think that cleaning the panels with a pole, brush and de-ionised water will be enough to clean the panels. But, you will be surprised. After the cleaning of the panels, WE MUST WIPE THEM WITH A WHITE 100% COTTON TOWEL, DAMPED WITH DISTILLED WATER. This is DISTILLED WATER, NOT DE-IONISED WATER. This will ensure that other dirt and dust that have deeply deposited themselves on the panel surface will be removed. After cleaning the panels, you will be surprised that when we wipe the panels with the towel, it will come back looking BLACK, because of the hidden dirt and dust on the panel surface. THE PANELS MUST BE WIPED thoroughly before starting the 3rd process.

(3) 3RD - WE POLISH THE PANELS
After the wiping the panels, the whole panel surface is polished with a special polisher, and finally, the polisher is wiped off with distilled water.

(4) 4TH - WE WIPE THE PANELS AGAIN.
After polishing the panel surface and wiping off the polish, the panels must again be wiped off with a special cloth, as the 100% cotton towel might leave some cotton debris on the panel surface which must be removed before the final coating is applied.

(5) 5TH - FINALLY, WE COAT THE PANELS
Finally, we coat the panel surface at a specific pressure from the air compressor in the van, through a specialized spray gun.

EVERY CUSTOMER THAT SEES THE PANELS AFTER THE TREATMENT ALWAYS SAY : "WHAO - THEY LOOK SOO SHINY".

WITHIN 24 HOURS OF TREATING THE PANELS - YOUR GENERATION METER WILL RECOGNIZE THAT SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED !
